This program, satisfying the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts
requirements for a minor, enables students to preserve the benefits of
a liberal education while also acquiring business skills. The program
consists of 6 prerequisite courses (19 credits) in the McAnulty College of

The student must complete the
business emphasis as it is outlined. There are
no substitutions.
The student must achieve a
minimum grade of C in each course.
Students may be allowed to
take an additional 9 credits in Business Administration.
Because in most cases it will
take three years to complete the certificate,
students are strongly urged to register for the
program by the end of their freshman year. To
register, students should file a completed application
form in the College Office. This, along with a
copy of the most recent transcript, will be sent
to the advisement office in the School of Business
Administration. A School of Business advisor will
assist the candidate in planning the program.
